I'm sad to say, the Penalty Swats/Swat Box blogs are closing.
I've been offered a project in Texas that I can't pass up. The opportunity is huge and I accepted this morning. I'll be moving shortly and will no longer be able to run these blogs properly.
I could possibly take a few week respite during the move and then maintain them in shortened form, with only occasional posts and web updates, but I'm not one to half ass anything. If I'm going to do it, I want to offer additional content compared to the average blog and be on here daily finding material for everyone. So, Penalty Swats, Swat Box, and likely the Fan Fiction blog are all three going to be suspended indefinitely. I may be back eventually, but not soon.
I'm considering a reprieve on Fan Fiction and keeping that up and active still, as that is what encouraged me to blog to begin with, but I've not decided.
Anyways, thank you to everyone that visited, and double thanks to those that recommended/linked the blogs elsewhere! I'll be sending out an Email to let those that I know linked the sites, notification they'll be closing. Triple thanks for the kind words and encouragement received along the way.
I'm very disappointed this had to happen as we had more activity than I expected the first month, but I never expected this to come up and real life trumps all of course.

Missed Update! Classic's Collage
Ok, so I'm realizing this blog (these blogs) are more work than I thought, and it is going to be harder to keep on schedule than planned. I missed yesterday's update, so from here on out the schedule is the suggested (and likely) daily update, but will have days dropped/switched now and then.
This month (August), there will likely end up being one or two random days a week missed. I've got two law classes right now and plan on them both kicking my ass for awhile.
So, for this week we're going to replace the Monday feature which is a little more fictional and less about spanking, with the missed Sunday feature and post a Classic's Collage, some of my favorite classic spanking photos!

Friday at the Movies - Esmeralda
This may be a TV show, I had originally thought it was a movie. This was today's planned update though so here it is.
I'm having difficulty getting any information on this spanking at all, other than it comes from something called 'Esmeralda'. I've held onto it for awhile because I like the spanking. It is a nice scene, where a girl in her late teens to early twenties gets spanked over-the-knee by her father in front of witnesses.
Other than that, things are up to debate. When I first found it a long time ago it was reported as a movie spanking. Chross has it in his database as a spanking from the TV Show "Esmeralda", a South American telenovela from 1997. CFPub doesn't even have it listed in their database.
I know I'm getting old, but this simply doesn't remotely resemble 1997 (to me) in environment or filming technology. It looks like it was ripped from an old VHS. I even searched out the actress that supposedly was spanked if it were in fact from that show, and it doesn't really look like her and the ages don't line up.
I'm going with first guesses on this being one of the older Esmeralda movies, in the 1970's. Even the scene itself feels more like a movie than a TV Show. Regardless, if anyone has any specific info, please share. I've been trying to nail this one down for awhile.

Website Review - Punished Brats
I'm posting this review within the limitations of Blogger. I'm tired of fighting this site's narrow columns and needy alignment demands to try and integrate screenshots. They'll be found at the end of each section.
Alright, if you've been paying any attention at all to the blogs and my random ramblings, you know that I'm a fan of Punished Brats. So you won't be surprised by the exceedingly positive review. It doesn't take a detective to see Punished Brats over in my Favorite Sites #1 spot, and I'm sure you are up on my favored themes of spankings so you know why.
If there is one thing I fear it is that this review will be interpreted as a "fanboy" review of the site, and that for whatever reason it is showing favoritism. I have to argue that isn't remotely the case. I've had 100s of subscriptions and at some point been a member of most sites, multiple times even. Punished Brats has earned my admiration.

Site Design
It's a clean cut site. Nice, clear inviting deep blue background. Archives are organized by Month, Model, and Top (Spanker). It's easy to get around, and hard to get lost. The only thing missing is a search, and really, that's just not fair to the site. That should be a bonus and not a necessary part of the structure. Especially when it's organized by model in one section to begin with. The respective image galleries are with their videos and this gives one less section to have to try and navigate.
The multi-part videos are a bit of a clink, and sometimes trying to find the second part when it spans a month or has updates between can be a bit annoying. I've seen this is improved since last time I was a member and most multi-parts seem to be put back to back, making this much less of an issue. I'd still like maybe a way to navigate parts within each individual part. IE: A little tunnel from Part 1 to Part 2 of a scene.
Design + Clean, clear, concise.
Design - Multi-parts, but a necessary evil I suppose.
I'm not sure what more you can ask for. In my opinion, the best conglomeration of models out of any site online. All the models are wonderful in their own way. Some of my favorite models are present; Vanessa, Pixie, and Krissi. Plus a ton of second-stringers in my list; Sarah Gregory, Beverly Bacci, Lily Anna, Lilly Page, Juliet, and others. There are 37 models total, and only a handful I'm not very fond of.
There are more than enough models that the site's content doesn't feel repetitive, and at the same time a handful of the models have regular appearances that make the content feel familiar.
The acting is solid, you'll only on occasion catch a glimpse at the camera or a smile. The wardrobe is plus, and not a lot of tattoos!

Models - Sometimes the acting is a bit on the bubblegum side, a little too cute.
This is the section that I think makes Punished Brats stand out. Many sites try it, but don't necessarily pull it off. Not only are they good at the home and school discipline scenarios, but they are able to integrate fun storylines without making the whole scene seem ridiculous.
The gimmicks work when they use them, and it rarely loses that 'parental/teacher/elder' authentic vibe.
They are filmed well, good angles and perspectives. The physical sets can be a bit repetitive but that's a common limitation. Shuffling things in the background and making the room look like a teenager's messy bedroom, or a well traveled family living room, goes a long way.
They do a good job of bringing you into the scene, and they feel real. Some of my favorites are the Rent-A-Mom series, Mad Sad with Sarah Gregory's 'thinking process', and the skipping school scene with Beverly listening in on Krissi.
Atmosphere + Best of the best when it comes to a variety of home discipline scenarios. Though I'm still waiting for that good voyeur scene ;)

They've mastered the art of the progressive over-the-knee spanking, which I mentioned in last week's review, is the one thing that is going to snatch me in. You'll see a lot of the screenshots I've added to the review are clothes or underwear, but let me make clear there are no shortage of bare butts. Almost all spankings get to bare on this site. I just like a good spanking to start on the clothes and move down to underwear and then bare, and not in all cases an overt focus on bare.
To me this adds a more authentic feel to the spankings, and while a lot are in fact OTK, not all are. They have plenty of other positions and implements in addition to hand and brush. They always retain that traditional home discipline feel though.
If I have one big complaint with the spankings, it's some are too light. I think even going for a realish vibe, some are a little too soft. I'd like to see a little more oomph and maybe a bit more struggle in the scenes now and then.

There is a lot of material here. Even browsing the site again for the review I was a bit overwhelmed. I had originally expected to browse through every set, but realized I'd never have time, and only had time to view the sets that were added since the last time I was a member.
There are a lot of videos. I'm not taking the time to count them but they are well into the hundreds. There are also high quality photos to go along with every scene.
If there is one drawback in this department, there is a lack of photos in some cases compared to other sites. That being said, it keeps the site clean and the photos that are present are great, and there's not a lot repetition where three or four photos look the same.
It seems most videos are available in both .WMV and .RM format, and some are in both regular quality and 1500kbps .WMV
There are a few extras. A gallery section with non-spanking photos of some of the various models, a DVD/VHS section, and of course good preview content outside of membership to know what is going on inside. Including, of course Pixie's Previews http://www.punishedbrats.com/pixiespreviews.htm.

It's hard not to like Punished Brats. The models, the scenes, this will likely remain in my favorite spot for awhile. It's also a huge plus that so many of the Spankers and Spankees blog, so this makes free content and behind the scenes material readily available.

- If you're all about images, there are sites that have them in greater supply.
- Sometimes the spankings are a bit too light and cutesie.
- On the same note, if you are looking for severe spankings, canings, whippings, this is not your site either.
- There is a wide variety of cute models.
- The creativity of the scenes and storylines is exceptional.
- Most spankings feel real, and this could even be supported by the pre-mentioned negative that some feel light. They still hit their mark, most real spankings (fortunately) are in fact on the lighter side.
Overall

Monday Feature
